Lord, please draw me closer to a place where your presence is all I seek. My spiritual breathing becomes shallow when I replace worship with my checklist of to do’s.
Worship service attendance? Check.
Monthly offering? Check.
Weekly bible study? Check.
Yearly missions trip? Check
.
Monthly evening at the homeless shelter? Check
But have I actively sought and pursued You until I have connected once again? Teach me to crave worship time as much I want my morning latte.
