Psalm 73:28 “But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds.”
In a world filled with uncertainty, I draw my internal strength as I draw near to God. I’m at a stage in my walk with the Lord that I don’t spend so much time vocalizing my prayers, I just sit and wait for Him to communicate with me. Sometimes it’s by drawing my eyes to the clouds drifting in the sky. Sometimes it’s seeing the full moon the morning after a glorious night when it has monopolized the sky. Other times it’s the picture of someone who needs a word of encouragement or someone who is hurting. I’ll remember a conversation or the dullness in their eyes and know that they are in emotional pain. Some days I wish that I could linger, but life bids me start my day. Spend a few days just listening to what He’s telling your heart and let your heart speak for your mind.
