Psalm 139:5 “You hem me in – behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.”
Have you seen the little pads that you lay tiny babies on with a rolled pillow sewed in on each side? You can lay your newborn bundle on it and they can’t roll off a bed. Then you do what is natural to mothers everywhere, you don’t just lay them down – you pat them softly so that they know mommy is close by. It is exactly how I like to think that God protects me from harm. His Spirit is surrounding me wherever I go, and His hand is gently on me so that I know He’s there to help me should I call. Can you feel His presence with you today as you face life? Are you feeling overwhelmed? When was the last time you asked God to hold you? Enter His sanctuary with the praise that He deserves and wait as He wraps His arms around you.
