Psalm 33:21 “In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.”
Through the centuries mankind has put its trust in many things dealing with might and with things under human control. The warrior put his trust in his strength and ability, the gunslingers of the wild west trusted in their sidearms and quick draw finesse, and today’s Wall Street financiers put their trust in their ability to control the market and spot trends that will allow them financial security. But, David put his trust in a name, not just any name, but the holy name of God. He found his heart soaring and his spirit flying when he trusted in the name of God. Try having a praise time when you call God by His many names and watch your spirit soar.
