Psalm 61:2 “From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”
I have a very real aversion to liars, I just hate being around them. Adulterers? I have better ways to spend my time than being around them. What does a liar and an adulterer have in common? They were men that God used as He used no one else in history. Through Abraham He founded the Jewish race, and he called David a man after His own heart. No one can have true empathy until they have faced the same problem and lived through it, and David knew what it was to be betrayed and be the betrayer, and yet he still praised God. The Psalms are filled with the praises that David offered from every situation imaginable. Wouldn’t you love to have David as your worship pastor? He had learned the secret to knowing God and that was worshipping God no matter where he found himself.
