Romans 15:5-6 “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Imagine all members of our church praying for seven days for the service that would happen the following Sunday, asking God to accept our worship and preparing our hearts and our minds to come before the throne of God. Think about the anticipation in our hearts as we make our way to the church with one purpose, to offer our praise and thanksgiving to our God. , Wouldn’t the trees and flowers seem even more vibrant to our eyes, wouldn’t the
prelude music cause our hearts to swell when our purpose for coming together is not about us, but about our Creator? Can’t you feel your heart beating faster as with one voice we begin singing praise until it would seem our beings would burst if we didn’t give everything we have to the One from whom life was created? How could we help but raise our hands heavenward and give Him the adoration He’s so deserving of? Just imagine…………..
