My Prayer

Phillipians 1:9-11 “And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ – to the glory and praise of God.”

Aren’t you glad that we celebrate Christianity, not religion? As we mature and proceed in our Christian lives, it’s not about taking the credit for the change, it’s about the praise being placed where it belongs. Our quest for knowledge doesn’t give us superiority, it gives us
empowerment. Deeper insight gives us humility and patience for those who are not quite where God has lead us to. Seeds of willingness are harvested as souls – men see our good works and praise God in Heaven. Our faith turns our eyes upward rather than inward.
