Psalm 139:17-18 “How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I am awake, I am still with you.”
How David must have felt to know the thoughts of God brings amazement to my mind. It humbles me and brings tears to my eyes because if I ever achieve this I know that my heart will be broken and I will never be the same person that I am now. As a young Christian, so much of our testimony revolves around ourselves, and as we mature it needs to elevate to the point where our lives and our words become about God and who he is. He saved my soul, not because I was good enough to be an asset to the Kingdom of Heaven, but because He saw how lost I was and He was my only hope and He would rather die than see me spend my eternity lost.
